Dr. Justin Grasmeyer was an honors graduate from Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCUHS) where he earned his doctor of chiropractic degree in 2009.  Graduating Summa Cum Laude, he was also the class Salutatorian.  A merit scholar for all three years, he also distinguished himself with recognition on the Dean’s List and the added distinction of being a Merit Scholar from 2006-2009.
 
As a staff chiropractor in the Soft Tissue Center, Dr. Grasmeyer is an integral member of the sports medicine team evaluating and treating TEAM USA Athletes in addition to providing conservative management, rehabilitation and performance optimization for all patients.
Continuing his post graduate studies, Dr. Grasmeyer is expected to obtain his Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner designation in 2010.  In addition, he currently is a faculty member at SCUHS as an instructor in the principles and practice department. He previously was a teaching preceptor and a student mentor at the university. In 2007, he served as the throws coach at Whittier College where he coached Shuree Gangloff  to the NCAA National Outdoor Championships and All-American award. 
 
Prior to graduation, Dr. Grasmeyer successfully completed a number of internship programs at SCUHS, the Soft Tissue Center at D.I.S.C. and Hayes Sports Chiropractic where he gained valuable clinical experience in sports chiropractic medicine.
 
He has also provided services to a number of athletic events and schools including the 2010 Wildflower Triathlon, St. Paul High School Training Room, Valley Christian High School Football, Tournament of Champions- High School Football 7-on-7, professional beach volleyball’s AVP Riverside Open, the L.A. Derby Dolls and the 2008 Mt. SAC Relays.
 
A native of California, Dr. Grasmeyer was a successful track and field student athlete.  Attending Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan he graduated Cum Laude in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.  He was a Presidential Scholarship Recipient from 2002-2006 along with being an NCAA Academic All-American and NCAA All-American in Outdoor Track and Field in 2004 and 2005.
