D.I.S.C. Sports and Spine Center is proud to be an Official Medical Services Provider of the U.S. Olympic Team. Through this new partnership, D.I.S.C. and the USOC will join together to provide and implement a comprehensive sports medicine program. With unmatched continuity of care and top notch medical techniques, facilities, and staff, we will work together to meet the medical needs of U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
For the first time Olympic athletes will have unprecedented access to a wide-array of distinguished sports medicine specialists at D.I.S.C., during their competitive careers, who can provide wide-ranging care, in a coordinated manner. This unique multi-disciplinary model will ensure all their medical needs are being met appropriately, allowing them to perform on the highest possible level.
Our philosophy at D.I.S.C. has always been to set a higher standard of medical care for our patients and we are committed to bringing this approach to the Olympic family. American athletes deserve every chance to go for the gold and we intend to do everything in our power to help them live their dreams.
USA Volleyball
Entering our second year of a partnership with USA Volleyball, D.I.S.C. is proud to be the Official Medical Center and Spinal Consultant of the 2008 Gold Medal USA Men’s National Volleyball Team and USA Beach National Team Program. Both the Men’s and Women’s Beach teams claimed gold medals in Beijing during the 2008 Summer Games.
Los Angeles Kings
D.I.S.C. enters its third season as the Official Medical Services Partner of this National Hockey League franchise. Over the course of three years, D.I.S.C. has helped the Kings Care Foundation raise more than $250,000 for charity.
Los Angeles Clippers
D.I.S.C. enters its third season as the Official Medical Center of this National Basketball Association franchise. Dr. Robert S. Bray, Jr. also serves as a team physician.
National Police Rodeo Association
D.I.S.C. is proud to join as a sponsor in support of this worthwhile non-profit association comprised of law enforcement officers and firefighters. D.I.S.C. Surgical Center OR nurse Jim Wade currently serves as the association’s president.
LA Heat Football Team
Dr. Gary Brazina, a team physician for the L.A. Heat and D.I.S.C. are proud to support the LA firefighters that participate in the National Public Safety Football League that was established in 1996. Comprised of police and firefighters, the teams play for the love of the game and raise money for various local charities. In Los Angeles, the Heat supports the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation.
