Dr. Andrew Yun is director of D.I.S.C.’s Hip and Knee Joint Replacement Center.  A board certified, fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon, he is a nationally recognized for his expertise and skill.
 
After graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Princeton University, Dr. Yun received his medical degree from Stanford University Medical School where he received the Stanford University Medical Scholars Award. He then trained in orthopedic surgery at Harvard. He finished Fellowship training in adult orthopedic trauma surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston and also in adult reconstruction and total joint replacement at Cornell University’s Hospital for Special Surgery.
 
His surgical practice focuses on minimally invasive techniques to enhance rapid recovery after hip and knee replacement. Among only a handful of surgeons in Los Angeles performing a partial knee replacement on an outpatient basis, Dr. Yun is dedicated to giving patients who are suffering from arthritis or any orthopedic problem the chance to regain a healthy, active lifestyle. He has published numerous articles and received a variety of awards including the Marmor Surgical Arthritis Foundation Resident Award for Excellence and New England's Kilfoyle Award for Research.
